The building blocks of colour
Every colour you see is created from the same three dimensions:
The hue of the colour will be warm, cool or neutral, which is a blend of the two.
The chroma of the colour will be bright or soft.
The value of the colour will be dark or light.
Colours are constructed from different combinations and levels of hue, chroma and value.
That’s what makes one colour look different from the next.
